The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSH Act) was passed to prevent workers from being killed or seriously harmed at the workplace.  Under the OSH Act, employers have to provide a safe workplace. OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910) are rules that describe the methods employers are legally required to follow to protect their workers from hazards.

OSHA regulation 1910.38 requires every business to have an Emergency Action Plan. We can help you create an EAP that would tell everyone what procedure to follow in event of any kind of emergency. Any business with more than 10 employees is required to have an EAP.
